Decker Truck Line says that due to recent increased business, the company now has a new pay plan for reefer/van company drivers, effective Feb. 15. The plan is available to all new reefer/van driver hires and current drivers who wish to switch.

“This pay plan has been designed not only to help our current driving staff, but to help attract additional premier quality drivers to help meet our customer demands and to more adequately address our drivers’ needs,” says Don Decker, president of the Fort Dodge, Iowa-based company. “We are seeing increased business from our existing customers, while at the same time, we have been able to add some new accounts. We must continue providing the quality of service necessary to retain our customer base and increase both the quality and quantity of freight necessary to survive in this economic environment. In order to do so, we need more high-quality drivers to meet the demands of our customers while providing on-time deliveries safely, legally and efficiently. The changes that we have implemented, and those we may initiate in the future, will allow us to remain a premier carrier in the industry.”

In addition to the pay increase, Decker will begin taking delivery in March of

20 2011 Model 386 and 387 Peterbilts.
