FreightWatch International, a logistics security solutions provider, announced Wednesday, Feb. 24, the launch of its Authorized Intelligence Partnership Program. Designed to increase information sharing throughout industry, the program provides members the ability to use FreightWatch intelligence throughout their business units and for communications with vendors, partners and customers.

“The key to a secured supply chain is awareness about the environmental risks and implementing a layered security approach,” says Ron Greene, general manager of FreightWatch International USA, based in Austin, Texas. “This program provides organizations with a significant opportunity to ensure everyone involved in their supply chains is well informed with up-to-date risk analyses and intelligence.”

FreightWatch publishes reports free of charge on regional cargo theft activity in the United States, Mexico, Brazil and Europe. The company also publishes an annual Global Threat Assessment. As a result of these reports, FreightWatch receives numerous requests by organizations wishing to post reports, charts, graphs and figures in websites, printed materials and other media.

Membership in this program provides a company with the ability to use existing information, or receive customized data that can be imbedded at the members’ discretion in their own media outlets.
