Rair – a Milwaukee-based provider of compliance, safety, and risk management services for the transportation industry – announced the appointment of two new executives, Gary L. Johnson and Joe Couture, to its staff.
Johnson recently served as director of safety and field operations for Transport Corp. of America. He also has worked as a safety professional for both Federal Express and Ryder Systems. Johnson is a Certified Director of Safety and a member of the American Trucking Associations’ Safety Management Council and the Minnesota Trucking Association’s Safety Council. Among his responsibilities at Rair is product development for the company’s new Comprehensive Safety Analysis 2010 compliance solution.
Couture joins Rair after serving as vice president of business development and customer relations at the Transportation Alliance Bank. Previously, Couture worked for T-Chek Systems Inc. and the former North Star Transport Inc. An industry veteran, he brings 30 years of experience in trucking operations, process management, fuel tax, licensing and permitting.
