Xata Corp., a provider of fleet optimization software and services, announced that Pritchett Trucking Inc. has renewed its contract with MobileMax by Xata with an additional 90 trucks to be equipped with TREQ M4 color display units. The company runs MobileMax on 200 of its fleet vehicles, which operate in 48 states and Canada across a diverse range of industries.

Pritchett Trucking leverages MobileMax for load information and driver and vehicle data. MobileMax’s dual-mode communication system is designed to switch automatically between cellular- and satellite-based communications networks, depending on truck location and network availability. MobileMax will enable Pritchett Trucking to manage its fleet vehicles, which include live-floor, dump, flatbed, wood byproducts and contaminated-dirt hauling.

“Having a broad view of our entire fleet enables us to continue our deep commitment to providing superior customer service, while lowering costs,” says Jon Pritchett, president of Pritchett Trucking. “This contract renewal demonstrates the value that MobileMax has brought our fleet operations. We look forward to growing our relationship with Xata.”

“We’re pleased that MobileMax continues to provide Pritchett with the tools it needs to run a smart and efficient fleet,” says David Gagne, executive vice president of field operations for Xata Corp. “Maximizing performance is about more than fleet visibility and efficiency. It’s also about providing excellent customer service, and we will continue to help Pritchett meet these goals.”
