NFI Transportation Brokerage has implemented Aljex Software to manage its operations headquartered in Cherry Hill, N.J. NFI Transportation Brokerage is a division of NFI, a privately held integrated supply chain solutions provider.
“We’ve already seen it has enabled us to gain some productivity right out the gate,” says Jim Quinn, vice president of NFI Transportation Brokerage. “We looked at a lot of different systems, but I was immediately impressed with Aljex. I liked that fact that it was Web-hosted, that we didn’t have to buy software. I thought it was very versatile, and I thought it was very intuitive.”
Quinn says his team has adapted to Aljex quickly. “Even over the first couple of weeks, we have made leaps,” he says. “The ability of our team to grasp it, use it, be functional and share information — the learning curve — has been better than anticipated.”
NFI Transportation Brokerage is using the Aljex’s TIN (Transportation Intermediary Network) map-oriented software, adding even greater depth to NFI’s supply chain capabilities and customer services.
