FreightWatch International, a global logistics security solutions provider, announced its expansion into Canada. Though the center of operations will be in Montreal, availability for clients will be customized for clients on an as-needed basis across Canada.

“By growing our North American operations, FreightWatch is better poised to serve clients as they ship product throughout the Western Hemisphere, from Canada to Brazil,” says Ron Greene, general manager of FreightWatch International USA. “Our goal is to provide cargo theft prevention solutions to our clients that cover a wide range of territory, land and situations. This expansion allows us to do just that and obstruct cargo theft where it occurs.”

FreightWatch’s cargo theft prevention services in Canada include electronic freight security for vehicles and loads; 24/7 monitoring of loads; security escorts to accompany tractor-trailers; cargo risk assessments and audits of warehouses, facilities and loads; and onsite risk management services. With this expansion, FreightWatch says clients can utilize a complete end-to-end cross-border solution, allowing clients to monitor their supply chains over an increased territory.
