Con-way Freight on Thursday, June 24, announced that it has expanded its relationship with Caterpillar Logistics Services Inc., a division of Caterpillar Inc. Con-way Freight now will provide all less-than-truckload freight carriage for Cat Logistics from 27 U.S. states, as well as service into and out of Canada and Mexico.

The expanded relationship is effective June 28. Con-way Freight has provided LTL service to Cat Logistics since 2009 and is growing that relationship to include 16 additional states and Canada.

“Our relationship with Cat Logistics has been strong and collaborative,” says John G. Labrie, president of Con-way Freight, based in Ann Arbor, Mich. “The opportunity to extend our service into new areas and help more Caterpillar customers is exciting. We work hard every day to provide customers with exception-free on-time and faster service, and we look forward to continuing to do that with Caterpillar Logistics Services – now on an even larger scale.”
