Diversified Truck Leasing, a truck renting and leasing company headquartered in Billings, Mont., has been approved for full membership in NationaLease, a full-service truck leasing organization. Diversified Truck Leasing provides local, regional and national coverage and comprehensive roadside assistance service, with more than 30,000 preferred vendors that can be utilized. Last year, the company received the Leading Initiative Award from NationaLease for its fleet growth and maintenance of high member standards, as well as its leadership, commitment, and best industry practices. It is a member of the Truck Rental and Leasing Association.

“Since its application in December 2005 to become a developing member of NationaLease, Diversified Truck Leasing has grown their leasing operation to more than 50 vehicles in lease, rental and contract maintenance, all under the direction of its President and CEO Jay Foley,” says Gene Scoggins, NationaLease president. “We consider Diversified to be a valuable asset to the NationaLease network of independent truck leasing companies.”

As a full member in NationaLease, Diversified Truck Leasing can take advantage of the organization’s combined purchasing power while maintaining its independent business status. NationaLease member companies also extend emergency road service to each other at 600 locations, providing repair, fuel and substitute vehicles 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It enables trucks traveling across the country to be assured of reliable emergency services outside their normal service area. NationaLease’s National Account Group negotiates nationwide contracts with national suppliers on behalf of member companies, as well as national account marketing and management. Other benefits of NationaLease membership include access to consulting services, industry-related seminars and education, and networking opportunities.

The developing member program, started in 2002, helps truck leasing companies’ personnel learn the leasing industry while becoming stronger and more effective in their businesses. Since its inception, this program has brought 37 companies into the NationaLease family.
