Ryder honors top carriers

Thirteen fleets have been awarded Ryder System Inc.’s top carrier honor, the Miami-based transportation and supply chain logistics company announced. The award is based on on-time performance, claims handling, customer service, technology applications, economic value and innovation, a written statement from Ryder said.

The winners, listed by category, are AAA Cooper Transportation, LTL Regional; Con-way Freight, LTL National; Old Dominion Freight Lines, LTL National; Vitran Express, LTL Inter-Regional; CEVA Logistics, International Forwarder; CSA V, International Maritime Commerce; Pilot Freight, North American Forwarder; Kingsway Transport, Canadian LTL: Bison Transport, Canadian Truckload; Celadon, Truckload Dry Van National; Arnold Transportation Services, Truckload Dry Van Regional; Landstar Carrier Group, Truckload Specialized; J. B. Hunt Transport Inc., Intermodal.
