Purolator USA, a provider of U.S.-Canada cross-border logistics services, has announced the appointment of Donna Thomas as branch manager of its new Cleveland location. The company’s Cleveland facility processes Canada-bound small package and freight shipments from businesses located in the Northeast Ohio region, including Cleveland, Canton and Akron, as well as from Western Pennsylvania, including Pittsburgh.
In her position, Thomas has responsibility for expanding Purolator’s presence in the region by generating new business and by servicing Purolator’s existing customer base. Thomas brings to her position more than 20 years of sales, management and operations experience in the transportation logistics industry. Most recently, she was employed by Chicago-based County Line Transport, and prior to that by Laser Transport Inc. of Windsor, Ontario.
“Donna’s extensive experience in the industry, which includes expertise in Canadian logistics services, makes her the perfect fit for this position,” says Christopher Antonelli, Purolator USA central district sales manager. ”Her experience gives her a unique understanding of the cross-border process that will be critical in developing logistics solutions to meet each customer’s specific needs.”
