uDrove, a company that provides mobile transportation solutions, announced an updated version (2.2.1) for iPhone that is now available on the App Store.

The new offering provides enhanced features and support for the iPhone latest operating system OS 4 (iOS4). uDrove will be demonstrating the latest features at the Great American Trucking Show, Aug. 26-28, at the Dallas Convention Center.

uDrove is a business and compliance management tool for the long-haul trucking industry that harnesses the power, accessibility and portability of a smart phone, including iPhone, Android and BlackBerry, to replace piles of in-cab paperwork with a simple, easy to use phone application.

“Since we initially launched uDrove this spring, we have continued to enhance the solution on both the mobile phone and the web site,” said Joel McGinley, President of uDrove LLC. “This latest release takes advantage of new functionality within the iPhone OS 4 such as multi-tasking and an improved GPS system.”

uDrove enables drivers to keep a log, track mileage for tax purposes, record fuel and business expenses and complete and electronically submit driver’s vehicle inspection reports and proof of delivery documents. It also provides fleets and shippers with real-time load tracking from pick-up to delivery

New features and improvements in uDrove 2.2.1 for iPhone include:
• Support for iOS 4
• Multi-tasking
• Improved GPS system
• Enhanced view of available driving and on-duty hours
• Ability to input data via the QWERTY keyboard
• Enhanced load tracking accuracy
• Improved log approval process with driver signature
• Enhanced log editing features
• Ability to take multiple photos of proof of delivery documents

uDrove version 2.2.1 is now available to download from the App Store, by searching for “uDrove” on the App Store or in iTunes. Users need to have iOS4 installed on their iPhone. Interested prospects can also learn more or set up a full uDrove account at: www.udrove.com/getstarted
