Updated Sep 12, 2010

Paccar has announced the launch of its new website dedicated to Paccar engines. The website, www.paccarengines.com, contains information about Paccar engines installed in DAF, Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks.

“We are pleased that our customers will have access to the latest developments in Paccar engine technology, specifications, features and benefits,” said Craig Brewster, vice-president. “In addition to product information, the website highlights Paccar’s extensive engine history, design and manufacturing quality. Video testimonials from customers, virtual tours of Paccar’s engine development and test facilities and information about 2010 emissions control systems are included. It’s an excellent tool for our customers and dealers, providing a single location for the full range of Paccar engine-related news and information.”

The Paccar engine website also provides links to DAF, Kenworth and Peterbilt websites to enable a better understanding of the integration of the engine, powertrain and vehicle chassis. Easy-to-use maps with directions to DAF, Kenworth and Peterbilt dealers are included to identify convenient locations for parts and service. The Paccar MX engine was recently introduced as the premium heavy-duty engine in Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks. The Paccar PX-6 and PX-8 engines are standard in DAF, Kenworth and Peterbilt medium-duty vehicles.
