In a move to expand its fleet by nearly 15 percent, Andrews Logistics Inc. has acquired 40 new Peterbilt trucks. According to J. Darron Eschle, chief executive officer of Andrews Logistics, the new vehicles feature anti-rollover stability systems and anti-lock brakes, making the new power units a major enhancement to ALI’s ongoing safety initiatives.

“Upgrading our fleet is part of our continuing efforts to improve safety for our customers and drivers alike,” Eschle says. “Equipment that’s outfitted with the latest and most advanced safety features on the market helps us ensure we provide the quality and error-free services our customers demand.”

ALI also purchased 35 single-compartment stainless-steel tank trailers and 45 multi-compartment aluminum tank trailers. The stainless-steel trailers include tandem-axle roll stability support systems, and the aluminum trailers feature full-length overturn protection, anti-lock brakes and anti-rollover stability systems.

“Besides offering state-of-the-art safety features, our new trucks also meet all of the EPA’s 2010 emissions requirements, which means they’ll help ensure clean air at the same time they make the roads safer,” Eschle says.
