KLLM Transportation Services has announced a pay increase for its Southeast and Midwest regional lead drivers, contractors and lease-purchase contractors. For KLLM’s Southeast region, lead drivers will receive a pay increase from the previous 20%-22% level to 23%-25%. For KLLM’s Midwest region, lead drivers will get an increase from the present range of $.35-$.39 per mile to $.39-$.43 per mile.

Pay for regional percentage-paid contractors and lease-purchase contractors will increase from 70% to 72% of revenue. Over-the-road mileage-paid contractors and lease-purchase contractors will receive up to $1.50 per mile depending on length of haul.

“At KLLM, we offer all of our drivers steady loads and weekly home time for regional fleets,” says Jim Richards, president and chief executive officer. “Now, we’re pleased to add an even higher pay package.”
