Ryder System has selected Keyvan Bohlooli to serve as senior vice president and chief information officer, replacing Kevin Bott, who will be retiring following a 15-year career with Ryder. Bohlooli will be responsible for all aspects of Ryder’s IT organization, including technology vision and strategy, operations and project management, infrastructure and software development, resource optimization and systems development lifecycle

“We are pleased to welcome Keyvan to Ryder,” says Greg Greene, Ryder executive vice president and chief administrative officer. “He brings an extensive background of leading information technology teams to drive business results within the deregulated energy industry, where innovation, consistency and reliability are paramount.”

Bohlooli joins Ryder after more than 20 years with NextEra Energy Inc. (formerly FPL Group), where he most recently served as vice president of information management of NextEra Energy Resources, which included the innovative Wind Power Development division. Over the course of his career, Mr. Bohlooli has gained a broad base of leading-edge IT experience, including building organizations, infrastructure and applications to support rapid growth; envisioning and implementing technology innovations to deliver business value; as well as developing and directing Six Sigma innovation teams.
