Longistics, a full-service provider of global logistics solutions, has announced that Lisa Yuan has been promoted to the position of manager of global business development, responsible for implementing all project-related activities in China and participating in road shows for business development in North Carolina, in order to build connections with different government bodies regarding imports and exports control.

Yuan holds overall responsibilities for new projects development in China, including competitive analysis, market expansion initiatives, project negotiation, research for cold chain markets and support for benchmark studies. She previously served as marketing analyst for the company and has more than 10 years of industry experience.

During an October 2009 delegation trip to China led by Gov. Bev Perdue, Yuan provided consultation and ground support to 10 North Carolina legislators, while Perdue and other North Carolina elected officials and industry leaders met with a number of key Chinese office holders and corporate representatives to identify partnering opportunities.
