Pegasus Transtech announced that Celadon Trucking of Indianapolis recently introduced Transflo Now to its 3,000-power-unit fleet to provide drivers with a convenient, easy way to transmit delivery documents using their own PCs.

“Transflo Now comes in as though from a truck stop (scan station),” said Mike Gabbei, Celadon’s chief information officer. “It’s transparent to our users. Beyond that it’s providing a driver convenience. If a driver cannot get to a truck stop he can send from the convenience of his home or from the cab.”

Pegasus Transtech says that setting up and using Transflo Now is a simple process. The software is free for drivers to download. Users receive a confirmation number via email to view their documents online at www.transfloexpress.com. Users have a document history review screen to view the status and history of all past transactions.

Transflo Now is used by drivers of other well-known carriers, including Dart Transit Company, Prime, Celadon, Crete Carrier Corp., the company says.
