Performance Kenworth has moved its full-service Kenworth dealership in Austin, Texas, 15 miles south to Buda to provide enhanced customer support and easier access from Interstate 35. Performance Kenworth-Buda is located on a 6-acre site less than one mile southeast of Exit 220 between Dallas and San Antonio. The facility also is close to State Highway 45, a new Texas Tollways road that connects to the State Highway 130 toll road.
“Our new facility provides greater visibility and easier access to and from I-35 and the state’s new highway and toll road system compared to our former location in Austin,” says Dayne Yeager, Performance Kenworth general manager at the dealer’s corporate headquarters in Cleveland, Texas. “The move will help us increase customer support.” In addition to stores in Buda and Cleveland, Performance Kenworth also has locations in Beaumont, Bryan, Lufkin and Houston.
Performance Kenworth-Buda features a 12,000-square-foot facility with a 10-bay service shop and larger parts department for enhanced parts selection. The dealership has five drive-through bays; one bay is dedicated for truck washings and the other half for preventive and express maintenance services, including Kenworth PremierCare ExpressLube. The dealership offers a wide selection of heavy and medium trucks, as well as Kenworth PremierCare parts and service programs and Paccar Financial support with flexible retail loans, leases and insurance products.
