Purolator International has announced that it will open 10 new branch offices during 2011, doubling its U.S. presence. The company says the latest round of regional office expansions is indicative of the surge in demand for logistics experience and expertise in transporting goods between the United States and Canada.

At the beginning of 2011, Purolator operated 10 branch offices across the United States; eight of those offices are located in the top 14 markets for trade with Canada. By the end of the year, the company will open 10 new offices, which will give Purolator a presence in 18 of the top 20 markets.

“The expansion of Purolator will solidify our role as the choice logistics provider for service to Canada,” says John Sweeney, Purolator vice president for field sales and service quality.

Regional offices locations that already have opened include Atlanta, Boston, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Minneapolis, Salt Lake City and San Francisco. Offices are scheduled to open by the end of the year in Houston, Miami and Milwaukee.
