Phillips Industries has promoted two sales executives; Randy Walker to director – North American aftermarket sales, and Ron Alvarez to director – global OEM/OES sales. The company says the promotions continue its pursuit of a strong global presence as a leading supplier, innovator and manufacturer of advanced electrical and air brake interface equipment for the commercial vehicle industry.

Walker joined Phillips Industries as regional sales manager in 2003 following a long career in the commercial vehicle industry. He was promoted to national sales manager – aftermarket in 2009. Walker’s promotion to director acknowledges the key role he has played in building Phillips aftermarket sales during his tenure with the company.

Alvarez’ latest promotion to director recognizes his effective leadership of Phillips domestic and global market growth strategies. He joined the company in 2008 from Denso and was named OEM/OES and international sales manager in 2010 and promoted to global sales manager – OEM/OES in early 2011.

“These two promotions are richly deserved,” says Bob Phillips, president and chief executive officer. “Randy and Ron have dedicated themselves to improving Phillips’ market position both in North America and globally, and we wanted to recognize those efforts. They will help our company meet the goals we have set.”
