GreenRoad, a provider of driver performance and safety management, announced it has partnered with ProMiles to offer ProMiles Fuel Tax Automation services as an integrated component of the GreenRoad service.
With this, GreenRoad says it becomes the first driver performance and safety management service to offer fully integrated, automatic fuel tax. Integration was made possible by the recently announced GreenRoad open integration platform.
The ProMiles integration enables GreenRoad to offer fleet owners and operators tax mile reports as required by the International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA), and compliance verification mandated by U.S. and Canadian reporting requirements.
With this integration, GreenRoad says that paper trip sheets, data entry errors and missing trips are eliminated enabling operators, managers and drivers to feel more confident in their fuel tax reporting compliance and accuracy.
