300 Below says new brake rotor lasts twice as long for half the price

Updated Mar 7, 2012

At a press conference at the NTEA Work Truck Show in Indianapolis, 300 Below Cryogenic Tempering Services announced four new products including a line of brake rotors that the company says offer twice the service life while costing half as much as comparable products.

Peter Paulin, chief executive officer, said the company’s crygenically tempered rotors offer fleets less downtime, reduced maintenance costs, lower parts costs, increased brake component life and safer vehicles.

The company also released a new nonrusting ABS ring. Paulin says ABS tone rust has become a major field issue in the Northeast and other parts of the country where snow, slurry and salt are a seasonal road condition.

Additionally, 300 Below announced a new parts distribution agreement with Uptime Parts as a national distributor of 300 Below’s brake products.
