Webb Wheel Aftermarket has launched new media applications to communicate information to commercial vehicle operators, maintenance personnel and part distributors. Webb Wheel now can be found on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and by downloading the new Webb i-phone and i-pad applications.

Webb says it is using new media applications as a tool not only to deliver company news but also to offer proper wheel-end maintenance procedures and part interchange details that can be used for technician training, for service repair instruction and to find correct replacement components.

To find Webb information:
• www.youtube.com/webbwheel: Here you can view videos in English, Spanish and French that relate proper installation techniques for various wheel end mounting systems and the consequences of not following the proper procedures;
• i-pad and i-phone applications: Search Webb Wheel in the i-tunes app store to download free applications that offer technical videos for training and updating technician skills, Webb’s Installation and Maintenance Manual for wheel-end components, new product and service bulletins from Webb and a part number interchange; and
• Follow Webb on Facebook www.facebook.com/webbwheel and Twitter www.twitter.com/webbwheel to keep up with the latest news from the supplier of wheel end components.

“Webb has a great deal of useful information in our libraries, and we wanted to make sure that it was made available to anyone in the industry that could benefit from it,” says Marshall Boheler, vice president of OES sales and marketing for Webb’s aftermarket business. “People today are using a variety of online tools to access information and training that can make their jobs easier, so we needed to have a presence wherever they might want to find us. Webb’s goal is to continue to enhance communication channels to our customers.”
