Recently at its annual carrier conference, Lowe’s, the second-largest home improvement retailer in the world, recognized TST Overland Express and Estes Express Lines with Gold and Silver Carrier awards. The two carriers – TST in Canada and Estes in the United States – have been working in a close alliance since 1996 when they not only integrated operations but also marketing and technology to leverage their respective strengths and deliver cross-border freight faster and more efficiently.

In the last 17 years, the two carriers have continued to refine the alliance to ensure that their joint operations constantly work at peak performance. As a result, customers enjoy the simplicity of one PRO number, one invoice, a single tracking system and the peace of mind from working with companies that offer regional and cross-border expertise.

“Estes and TST Overland Express were able to create a new approach to doing business that fundamentally changed the industry and our two companies,” says Rob Estes, chief executive officer. “The real winner is the customer who enjoys faster cost-efficient freight delivery.”

“The Estes and TST Overland Express alliance is successful because at the heart of the relationship is our shared belief that the number-one priority is to deliver the best customer service possible,” says Rob O’Reilly, TST Overland president. “If we take care of our customers, we succeed.”
