CVSA sets Roadcheck for June 5-7

The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance will hold Roadcheck, its annual vehicle inspection program, June 5-7. During a 72-hour period, an estimated 10,000 CVSA-certified federal, state and local enforcement inspectors conduct truck and bus inspections at 1,500 North America locations.

In 2011, out-of-service rates from the program hit an all-time low. Last year’s overall vehicle compliance rate was 80.7 percent compared with 80 percent in 2010. The overall driver compliance rate in 2011 was 95.8 percent compared with 95.6 percent from the previous year.
