Mentor Engineering announces the ME100, an easy-to-install, battery-operated, tracking device that provides organizations with an easy way to monitor the location of valuable assets to improve efficiency and security.
Mentor ME100 offers the following:
• Asset Status: Using motion sensors, comparative GPS positioning and custom-configured sensors, the ME100 collects and transmits asset status information in pre-determined intervals (usually once per day)
• Status Reporting: The ME100 is custom configured to track its asset’s specific needs and provide emergency alerts via email, text or cellular
• Theft Protection: Safeguard assets from theft with ME100. Know where assets are and when they are being used or moved
• Easy Installation: ME100’s “asset ready” design allows it to be installed and field managed without the use of harnesses, antennas or external power so organizations can start tracking assets in minutes
The ME100 connects to Mentor Fleet® in the office, a mobile workforce management solution that makes fleet management and driver monitoring easy. Tailored to each client’s unique business environment, the solution delivers vehicle and asset tracking, automated field ticketing, driver behavior and lone worker monitoring, reporting, hours of service and maintenance capabilities. Fleet allows organizations to track all of their assets and vehicles on one map to gain a comprehensive view of their operations.
“This device helps organizations manage valuable assets such as trailers, equipment and yellow iron. The three-year battery life and satellite tracking capabilities enable managers to ‘set it and forget it’ as the ME100 eliminates the potential for the loss or theft of fixed assets,” says Mike Koebel, VP of Sales and Business Development at Mentor Engineering.
