Hub Group reports 2Q revenues up 3.6%

Hub Group on Thursday, July 19, reported earnings of earnings of $0.46 per share for the second quarter of 2012, while revenues at the Downers Grove, Ill.-based company rose 3.6 percent year-over-year to $778.3 million.

The Hub segment’s revenue increased 6 percent to $596 million, while intermodal revenue increased 9 percent to $432 million due to a 9 percent volume increase. Truck brokerage revenue decreased 11 percent to $80 million.
