Electronic Funds Source (EFS), a provider of customized payment systems, announced that Maverick Transportation recently implemented its payments platform.
Maverick, a transportation carrier headquartered in Little Rock, Ark., recently moved its payments business to EFS because of the unique, virtual payments system it developed for Maverick.
“EFS listened to our needs and built a completely customized, virtual payments solution for Maverick,” said Dean Newell, vice president of safety and training. “With this new virtual cardless solution, our drivers no longer have to worry about carrying a physical card, which alleviates all of the administrative duties that typically accompany maintaining cards for our fleet. All of the necessary transaction information is captured ‘virtually’ at the point of sale.”
