SkyBitz, a provider of remote asset tracking and information management systems, announced that Transportation Services Inc. (TSI), a dedicated contract carrier, has selected its subscription-based SkyBitz as a Service to manage trailer assets.

With the new technology, TSI is able to eliminate up-front hardware costs and deliver a higher level of service to its customers through more accurate reporting and data analysis, according to the announcement from SkyBitz.

With over 30 years of experience, TSI is a NAFTA-approved long-haul carrier to and from Mexico and Canada. It currently owns a modern fleet of 600 tractors and over 2,000 trailers.  One of TSI’s main objectives was to install trailer tracking to have frequent reporting and complete visibility of its fleet spanning a broad coverage area, especially for those trailers moving between the United States and Mexico.

“In our industry, accurate data is crucial in providing the best fleet services possible to our customers and supporting our drivers,” said Michael Zavislak, chief financial officer of TSI. “After a thorough competitive evaluation, we selected SkyBitz as they have proven to offer the leading information management system, TMS integration expertise, devices, and customer service second to none. We were impressed with all the data reporting and analytics available through SkyBitz.”
