Bendix Commercial Vehicles Systems LLC celebrates the 35th anniversary of its Fleet Council, an annual forum in which prominent fleet customers meet to discuss pertinent industry trends, share best practices, and learn firsthand about advancements in Bendix active safety and braking system technologies.
An extension of Bendix’s ongoing commitment to safety, vehicle performance, value, plus post-sales support and training, the multi-day event is attended by 25 fleets representing the full range of vocations from across North America. The event is slated for April 12-14 in Florida.
“The Bendix business strategy, along with our product development and service strategy, is deeply rooted in serving our customers to our fullest ability,” said Scott Burkhart, vice president of sales, marketing, and business development at Bendix. “Fleet Council continues to be a valuable opportunity to explore the myriad issues and concerns that impact the growth of our customers and the commercial vehicle industry as a whole. We are very proud to host the 35th anniversary of this premier event.”
Bendix established Fleet Council in 1980 with a commitment to better understand the critical needs of its customers. The council was the first event of its kind in the commercial vehicle industry and is now one of the longest-running forums of its type.
At the council, Bendix fleet customers will be joined by company business and engineering leaders, as well as senior executives from Bendix, in a dynamic two-way dialogue to secure vital feedback about Bendix products, services, and programs.
“This premier event provides a valuable opportunity for all of us to step back from our day-to-day business requirements in order to share insights, ideas, and feedback surrounding the issues that are most critical to today’s fleets,” Burkhart said. “The longevity and substance of the Bendix Fleet Council is just one way we demonstrate our firm commitment to our customers and to the evolution of the commercial vehicle industry.”
