The American Trucking Associations announced Sept. 12 that Rusty Duckworth has been promoted to the position of chief financial officer.

Duckworth has worked for ATA since 1999 in a variety of roles in the accounting and finance department, most recently as senior vice president and controller.

Duckworth is the fifth member of the new leadership team that new ATA President and CEO Chris Spear has implemented at ATA. He joins COO and Executive Vice President of Industry Affairs Elisabeth Barna, and Executive Vice Presidents Bill Sullivan (advocacy) and Sue Hensley (communications and public affairs) who joined the organization in August.  General Counsel Jennifer Hall also started in her new role last week.
