18-Wheelers Driving on RoadVolvo Trucks has agreed to acquire 49 acres from Pulaski County, Va., adjacent to its new 36,000 sq.-ft. Volvo Trucks Customer Center and the 1.1 mile Customer Experience Track in Dublin, Va.

Volvo says the purchase will allow the truck OEM to extend its Customer Experience Track, which currently features on-highway and off-road areas. Also signed was a lease-to-purchase agreement for an additional 221 acres for future use.

Volvo says its launch of the new Volvo VNL series brought more than 1,000 Volvo Trucks customers and dealers to the new Volvo Trucks Customer Center, and visits at the Center and the Customer Experience Track remain strong as customers come to see their trucks being built, conduct pilot reviews and test drive the latest Volvo technologies.
