The American Transportation Research Institute is asking trucking industry stakeholders, such as drivers and carriers, to rank the top issues of concern for the industry as part of its annual Top Industry Issues Survey.

The survey lists 26 issues identified by the industry and asks for the respondent’s top three issues from the list. Some issues on the list include automated truck technology, CSA, driver shortage, ELDs, hours of service, truck parking and more.

Survey participants can also name an issue that is not included on the list.

The results of the survey will be released at the annual ATA Management Conference and Exhibition, which will be held Oct. 27-31 in Austin, Texas. The survey can be completed online here.

Last year, the driver shortage ranked as the top industry issue for the first time in over a decade. The ELD mandate ranked second, followed by hours of service regulations, truck parking and driver retention.
