Glacier Computer, a developer of rugged industrial computing solutions, announced the addition of optional features for the T510K tablet, the latest addition to the Glacier product line that offers rugged mobile computers to warehouse and distribution, manufacturing and shop floor, field service, military and healthcare.

Optional features include an RS232 connection, GPS and Smart Card Reader. The T510K offers a 10-inch resistive touchscreen with a 23-key interface, 802.11 b/g/n wireless, Bluetooth, 3G/4G integrated module, camera, 2D scanner and RFID. Windows XP or 7 Pro is standard along with the Intel Atom processor.

Glacier’s new lineup of rugged tablets also have grip-and-go handles, vibration and shock testing and both desktop and vehicle cradles. “The T510K tablet is a perfect choice for field service technicians,” says Ron D’Ambrosio, chief executive officer of Glacier Computer. “At least half of all current opportunities are a result of the variety of tablets we offer and our ability to retrofit to match customer requirements.”
