DuraClass debuts aluminum dump body
DuraClass has added an aluminum dump body to its line of Class 5-8 truck bodies. The corrosion-resistant dump body is designed to eliminate paint expense and increase body value at trade-in. Aluminum dump bodies can weigh more than 30 percent less than traditional steel, increasing payload.

Maxon updates liftgate
Maxon Lift Corp. has launched the next generation of its Tuk-A-Way liftgate, the GPT (Grand Prix Tuk-A-Way), that now features a bolt-on extension plate and bolt-on step options. Bolting on the extension plate and steps instead of welding helps overcome corrosion issues – induced by welding and repainting – and simplify installation.
