Konexial partnership adds telemedicine to My20 suite
Konexial on Monday announced the availability of a new telemedicine service, GoMedRx, available to truckers via the company’s My20 suite of apps. Konexial partnered with Everywhere.Care to develop the service.

GoMedRx is an open platform service and available to all drivers no matter what ELD provider they use. Drivers that subscribe to GoMedRx in the next 6 months will receive 30 days of free service, Konexial say. After that, the service is $15 a month.

“We know how hard—and often impossible—it can be for truck drivers to stop and get the care and/or advice for medical issues both large and small,” said Ken Evans, chief executive officer at Konexial. “With the COVID-19 pandemic (a.k.a. coronavirus) at the top of everyone’s mind for the foreseeable future, GoMedRx will help drivers determine their symptoms quickly and get the care they need not only for themselves but for their families.”

Drivers can use GoMedRx immediately after signing up, and on average can speak to a tele-health physician in 23 minutes, Konexial says. Health insurance is not required to join and use GoMedRx, and there are no bills beyond the subscription for using the service.

“GoMedRx also covers mental health services and counseling,”  says Evans. “With isolation and depression being real issues in the trucking industry, GoMedRx makes it easy to talk to a counselor when needed, wherever they might be.”

TruckPark partners with GenieMD to add telemedicine access to its app
TruckPark has added a telemedicine option to its app that allows drivers to connect on-demand with doctors via text and video, via a partnership with telehealth provider GenieMD. Through the TruckPark app’s Services page, drivers can access the GenieMD network for $49 per use — similar to a co-pay for a doctor’s visit. TruckPark’s telehealth platform access is also obviously available for drivers experiencing symptoms of the COVID-19 coronavirus.

International launches special offers during COVID-19 pandemic
International Truck announced this week it has launched International Cares, a grouping of special offers on new truck financing and digital tools available during the COVID-19 pandemic.

One offer is delayed payments on all International Truck models through Navistar Capital. The program, available through May 31, defers payments for six months.

International is also offering free access to the International 360 fleet management system for all new customers until Oct. 1. International 360 allows fleets to monitor the status of trucks in repair and to initiate service requests and more.

Additionally, International has introduced a COVID-19 resource center that includes information and tools for International customers during the pandemic.
