Hendrickson’s expanded medium-duty front steer axle lineup

Hendrickson has expanded its Steertek NXT portfolio of fabricated front steer axles to include 10,000- and 12,000-lb. capacities. The axles are approved for on-highway and medium-duty truck, bus and motorhome applications and now are available for Navistar’s International MV medium-duty trucks and IC Bus CE Series buses. The company’s proprietary design and manufacturing process saves weight compared to traditional I-beam axles while combining rigid strength, added maneuverability and reduced maintenance. The axles are available in capacities from 10,000 to 14,600 lbs. per axle and offer a 40,000-mile service interval.
