00:24 Video telematics provider Lytx has launched the Lytx 360 Hub Kit, a next-generation hub and auxiliary camera solution designed to extend visibility around the vehicle.

The 360Hub Kit integrates up to four HD auxiliary camera views —expandable to eight — across the sides, rear, cargo area and blind zones of a vehicle. With synchronized auxiliary footage, on-demand access and a unified Lytx Cloud experience, the solution helps safety and operations teams investigate incidents faster, strengthen claims defense, verify service delivery, deter theft and improve awareness in complex driving and job site environments.

Lytx said it plans to release AI-powered features, including side and rear pedestrian, object and blind spot detection by the end of the year.

01:12 Fleet maintenance and optimization platform Fleetio has rolled out AI Service Advisor, a built-in maintenance expert designed to help fleets make faster maintenance decisions and automate routine processes.

Service Advisor assessed more than $1.4 billion in maintenance spend during a six-month open beta, helping assets return to service an average of two-and-a-half hours sooner per repair.

It prioritizes issues that need attention, evaluates repairs in context, drafts service, advances low-risk approvals within fleet-defined policies, and closes routine follow-up after service.

01:48 Connected operations platform Samsara has introduced Samsara Driver Perks, a free rewards program that gives professional drivers access to exclusive offers and discounts from a lineup of more than 50 brands across food and beverage, wellness, fitness, travel and more.

Eligible drivers can access Driver Perks through the Samsara Driver App, a direct web link or a QR code shared by their organization. Offers are available anytime, with additional brands and offers added over time. Each participating brand sets its own offer terms, and drivers redeem directly with the brand.

03:11 Internet of Things hardware manufacturer Queclink Wireless Solutions has become a preferred hardware partner to IoT solutions provider Direct Communication Solutions or DCS.

The two companies have teamed up to develop advanced telematics systems for the fleet, transportation and logistics sectors with Queclink supplying DCS with a range of GPS trackers and vehicle cameras, including the CV200 smart dashcam, allowing DCS to offer a video-enabled, all-in-one telematics system.

DCS’s COO (David Scowby) said, “We expect the partnership to quickly evolve beyond standard telematics devices by leveraging Queclink’s Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) expertise. This added capability will allow us to develop custom hardware to meet the evolving needs of fleet, transportation and logistics operators.”
