00:22 Trucking Hub, a provider of Transportation Management System (TMS) software and connected fleet solutions, has rolled out new pricing plans that make complete DOT compliance simple and affordable for carriers of any size.

For $29 per month per truck, fleets receive everything required for compliance, including ELD compliance and nationwide random drug testing at more than 24,000 locations. By including random drug testing in its $29 plan, Trucking Hub’s affordable program eliminates the hidden costs and complexity that traditionally burden small and mid-sized fleets.

The launch expands Trucking Hub's integrated Drug & Alcohol Consortium, combining compliance technology with nationwide coverage. Every carrier enrolled receives:

• Quarterly random drug and alcohol testing

• Pre-employment testing

• Post-accident testing

• Reasonable suspicion testing

• Return-to-duty and follow-up testing

In addition, Trucking Hub unifies all compliance requirements into one connected platform:

• ELD compliance – FMCSA-certified HOS and DVIR with native dispatch and TMS integration

• Driver Qualification Files – Centralized DQF management with instant access to PSP and MVRs

• Accident reporting & recordkeeping – A complete accident register with digital forms and evidence tracking

• Maintenance – Preventive schedules, inspection logs, and repair history tied to each asset

• And IFTA – State mileage tracking, fuel card integration, and automated quarterly reporting

01:52 Transportation management solutions provider McLeod Software has released its latest version with enhancements across its LoadMaster, PowerBroker, DocumentPower and MPact platforms.

To start, LoadMaster is now accessible anytime, anywhere with an internet connection.

Operations Management delivers a real-time Visual Planner View, allowing planners to drag and drop assignments in seconds, reshuffle loads, and instantly spot issues with a bold, color-coded timeline. The Dispatch Slide Out consolidates driver activity – past, present, and future – into one easy-to-navigate panel. Tools like Automatch, Find Near, and Equipment Alerts reduce guesswork and empower faster decisions.

LoadMaster also now has faster, more intuitive workflows. With Quick Action Buttons, users can instantly preassign, dispatch, split, or hold loads. Intuitive Task Filters bring late loads, shipment issues, and appointment conflicts to the surface instantly.

Users gain enhanced visibility into load status, driver assignments, and equipment, supported by interactive data highlights that offer insights without switching screens. Updated Core Files for Driver, Tractor, Trailer, and Location offer streamlined asset management with duplicate detection, image support, and comment tracking.

McLeod’s additional updates will be featured in future Tech Shorts videos.

03:13 The National Motor Freight Traffic Association will host its third-annual Cybersecurity Conference Oct. 26-28 in Austin, Texas to address the ever-growing cyber threat in the trucking industry as the transportation sector ranked the fifth most attacked industry in 2024, according to IBM’s 2025 X-Force Threat Intelligence Index.

The event, designed specifically for trucking decision makers and cybersecurity leads, delivers tactical confidence, including risk tools, playbooks, control mapping, and peer networking with fleet and tech leadership and original equipment manufacturers.

The conference addresses both asset-level and enterprise-level threats, from connected vehicle vulnerabilities to back-office breaches.
