00:00 This week’s CCJ Tech Shorts features a new autonomous freight execution system, a telematics integration that could help safe fleets save money on insurance, Samsara’s new look and more.

00:37 Envoy AI, a logistics operational intelligence company building agentic AI solutions for freight brokerages, has launched Ellie Workforce. This operating system for autonomous freight execution deploys AI-powered digital workers to run day-to-day brokerage operations alongside human teams.

Built into the browser and integrated with TMS, email, load boards, carrier networks and compliance platforms, Ellie sources carriers, negotiates rates, verifies compliance, collects documents, coordinates communications and monitors shipments, escalating only the exceptions that require human judgment.

The platform is powered by Envoy AI's Transportation Observability and Action System (TOAS), which continuously builds operational context and coordinates actions across connected systems.

01:24 Fleet intelligence platform IntelliShift has partnered with TruckerCloud, a telematics data platform for the commercial trucking and auto insurance ecosystem. The integration gives insurance carriers and risk managers direct access to IntelliShift telematics and video event data.

Through the partnership, IntelliShift joins TruckerCloud's network of connected camera and telematics providers. Insurers can now see how a fleet actually operates, from location and routes to driver behavior captured by AI dash cams. That more complete picture helps insurance carriers price risk more accurately and recognize the fleets that put safety first. By sharing the safety data they already collect, fleet operators can leverage their own performance instead of being measured against industry averages during the underwriting process for more customized pricing.

02:13 Fleet management solutions provider Samsara has introduced a new brand identity: the company’s first major visual update since its founding. Samsara said its new brand reflects a decade of transformation to bring AI-driven products to the physical world.

Samsara’s new look represents the visual language of the places where its customers and operators work every day: worksites, truck cabs and field operations.

Driven by customer feedback, the result is a reimagined owl, a custom typeface built from the handwriting of Samsara's engineers and a high-visibility yellow drawn from the worksite.

02:48 Coca-Cola Consolidated subsidiary Red Classic, which offers truckload services, fleet maintenance capabilities and more, has selected MasterMind TMS as its enterprise transportation management system. Red Classic will use the Mastery Logistics Systems platform across its fleet and managed transportation operations.

MasterMind will simplify Red Classic’s technology ecosystem by replacing its existing TMS and other third-party solutions with a single platform. Bringing critical information together in one place, creates a clearer picture of capacity, commitments and transportation needs. This will help Red Classic’s teams make informed decisions based on real-time data, reduce manual tracking and plan more proactively. The platform will also support more consistent workflows across the company’s operations and external partners.

03:36 Fleet management solutions provider Merchants Fleet has integrated Super Dispatch’s API-powered automotive transportation management platform into its broader technology ecosystem. This gives the company a single system for managing carrier assignments, shipment visibility, digital bills of lading and transportation reporting.

Super Dispatch’s digital documentation and real-time shipment tracking keep every move accounted for, while built-in reporting tools help the company measure carrier performance, manage costs and make smarter decisions across its network.
