00:00 This week’s CCJ Tech Shorts features a partnership that syncs fleet records across compliance and fleet management software, a new fleet management solution for mixed-energy fleets, an integration that brings predictive analytics to the Isaac platform and more.

00:40 Teletrac Navman has launched a new solution for mixed-energy fleets within its all-in-one fleet management platform TN360. Energy Hub combines electric vehicle (EV) charging visibility with traditional fuel data in a single platform.

Building on Teletrac Navman's existing telematics platform, Energy Hub supports configurable alerts and exception-based reporting that can identify overcharging, unusual fuel transactions and inefficient charging behavior.

Energy Hub's dashboard provides fleet-wide visibility into energy consumption, transaction volumes, cost per kilowatt hour and overall spend so fleet managers can analyze trends, monitor live charging status, track charging events and locate public charging infrastructure.

The solution centralizes fuel card transaction data and introduces EV charging reimbursement capabilities.

01:30 ELD and fleet management platform Isaac Instruments has added a new vendor to its open platform. Its integration with predictive analytics provider Uptake gives Isaac fleet clients access to predictive maintenance built on data their trucks already collect, and it gives Uptake access to a larger client base.

Isaac feeds Uptake’s models with its telematics data, which enables Uptake’s AI to spot the patterns that signal a part is starting to fail and alert the fleet maintenance team to act before a vehicle breaks down.

02:01 Noregon, a maintenance solutions provider for commercial vehicles, has added a solution that aims to help its customers fix their vehicles in a timely and affordable manner.

The product, FleetCross Parts by Motor Information Systems, gives customers access to medium- and heavy-duty parts, service and repair information built on Motor’s database of more than 45 million one-to-one cross references across OEM and aftermarket manufacturers.

This adds a valuable component for customers who use Noregon products for diagnostics, shop management, repair guides and other maintenance functions.

02:35 PermiShare, a digital permits book and compliance software provider for trucking fleets, has integrated with Samsara to keep driver, truck and trailer records in sync across both platforms. Now, when a truck, trailer or driver is added, changed or removed in Samsara, PermiShare updates on its own.

Keeping records identical across both platforms eliminates manual document management, helps catch compliance gaps and gets drivers through roadside inspections more quickly.

03:03 PRYME, a manufacturer of professional wireless and wired audio accessories for two-way radios and push-to-talk (PTT) communications, has expanded its partnership with PositionPTT, a provider of nationwide push-to-talk over cellular solutions.

The partnership pairs PositionPTT's push-to-talk over cellular radios, smartphone application and dispatch platform with PRYME's headsets, speaker mics and push-to-talk switches. This combination meets Department of Transportation requirements and enables employees to communicate hands-free.

03:34 Easy & Quick Trans, an Illinois-based motor carrier that specializes in temperature-controlled, high-value and time-sensitive freight, has reported improved route planning, stronger driver support, better operational visibility and greater cost control after implementing Trucker Path across its fleet of more than 100 trucks.

Trucker Path, a mobile app for North American truckers, provides the company’s drivers with truck-safe navigation, faster operational support, parking information, fuel locations, repair facilities and other services they need on the road.

The platform has provided dispatchers with better visibility into routes, resulting in reduced unnecessary miles through improved route planning and out-of-route alerts, fewer routine calls between drivers and dispatch and improved fuel and toll cost management.

04:21 Pro-Vision, which provides mobile video solutions to organizations operating in complex fleet environments, has been certified to ISO 9001:2015, the internationally recognized standard for quality management systems.

The formal audit evaluates an organization’s ability to consistently meet customer, regulatory and internal requirements through a documented quality management system. This certifies that Pro-Vision has standardized processes in place to measure performance and drive continuous improvement.
