Four people were killed after the car they were riding in slammed into the back of an oil tanker early this morning on the Garden State Parkway in New Jersey.
The truck driver was not injured, according to New Jersey State Police who responded to the crash around 3 a.m. The car had been traveling southbound in the slow lane near Exit 81 in Berkeley Township when it struck the rear of the truck. It’s not known if the truck had been stationary at the time. The crash remains under investigation.
