Kenworth is giving its heavy truck lineup a big tech and comfort upgrade, headlined by a redesigned interior featuring a 15-inch touchscreen.
The 15-inch horizontal high-definition touchscreen display, the largest in the industry, is positioned for easy reach with a supporting handhold for stability on rough roads or jobsites. The screen also houses radio and HVAC controls alongside the newly introduced PACCAR Connect system.
Kenworth’s interior revamp introduces premium wood trim accents and new color options for its Diamond VIT and Vantage trim packages. The Vantage interior is now offered in Charcoal, while the Diamond package is available in Charcoal or Titanium. Other interior additions include updated HVAC louvers, USB-C charging ports, flexible instrument panel configurations, and redesigned storage areas.
To reduce clutter and improve convenience, wireless phone charging is now standard equipment. Positioned next to the steering wheel, the charging pad features a secure cubby to keep devices locked in place.
Kenworth is also making the electronic parking brake a standard feature across all new 2.1-meter Class 8 trucks. The system replaces traditional push-pull knobs.
The updated interiors and features are available immediately on new truck orders.
