McLeod Software — a provider of dispatch, accounting and operations fleet management software — announced it has added three new regional sales managers to its existing sales force. McLeod says this expansion will enable it to meet ongoing growth and increased demand for its products spurred by their recognized efficiencies and by the company’s aggressive six-month new product release schedule.

  • David Mahlstedt is a 15-year transportation industry veteran with extensive C-level experience at Comdata Corp. and Innovative Computing Corp. (ICC). Prior to his career in transportation, Mahlstedt served with the U.S. Army as a member of the official escort unit to the president of the United States. He will represent the company’s truckload, brokerage and document management products in the northeastern United States.
  • John Piper began his career as a transportation manager in 1994, then spent eight years in a variety of sales and customer service positions with Qualcomm. He joins McLeod, where he will cover the company’s Southwest region, after most recently serving as the director of national accounts for SkyBitz.
  • Jessica Wehby is a trained attorney who brings an extensive background in sales management and finance to McLeod. Although new to the trucking industry, Wehby’s background in sales and customer service as a product manager in the medical high-technology industry, along with her law and finance background, brings a unique perspective to McLeod.
