FreightWatch International, a logistics security solutions provider, announced the selection of Ronald Greene as general manager for U.S. operations. Greene immediately assumes the role previously occupied by Barry Conlon, FreightWatch’s newly appointed chief executive officer.
“Ron brings an extensive knowledge of our industry to the role of general manager for the U.S. operations,” Conlon says. “In addition, he has an in-depth understanding of our company, our clients and their needs for effective logistics security solutions.”
With more than 15 years in logistics and global management experience, Greene most recently was vice president of corporate development for FreightWatch International in the United States, responsible for playing management and business development roles as well as for the region’s finance. Prior to his joining FreightWatch, he was a global supply chain security consultant with First Advantage Corp.’s supply chain security division.
