Kinedyne Corp. appointed Michael Hauer as its U.S. sales director, effective July 1. In this role, Hauer will oversee all the Branchburg, N.J.-based company’s day-to-day sales and marketing activities within the United States for the retail, OEM and aftermarket parts sectors.

Immediately prior to joining Kinedyne – a provider of cargo control products for the trucking and transport industry – Hauer was a director of sales for Wabash National Corp.’s Duraplate Products Group in Lafayette, Ind., and a regional director for new trailer sales. Previously, he held a director of sales position with Cleveland-based Stanley Works, a global supplier of tools, hardware and assembly systems.

During the course of Hauer’s career at Stanley, he compiled a number of sales achievements, including the Chairman’s Award, and was a member of the President’s Club. He directed the company’s sales activities throughout the Americas, as well as in Australia, Japan and South Korea.

“Michael’s extensive and varied background in a number of global markets makes me confident he will have a dramatic impact on our sales goals,” says Larry Harrison, Kinedyne’s vice president of sales and marketing. “His experience in strategic sales management, culture-based program selling and brand awareness, plus his professional presence and engineering background, will only serve to enhance our current level of success.”
