FleetMentor, the online fleet management advisor by J.J. Keller & Associates Inc., is kicking off a series of seven webcasts to cover, in detail, each of the Behavioral Analysis Safety Improvement Categories (BASICs) under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s Comprehensive Safety Analysis 2010 starting in July. J.J. Keller says this webcast series is a continuance of its commitment to educating industry professionals on CSA 2010 so that they can prepare for and manage safety compliance effectively under the new initiative.

Each month, J.J. Keller’s team of experts will host an interactive webcast focusing on a different CSA 2010 BASIC and cover items such as roadside inspections, applicable regulations, violations, interventions, recordkeeping, scoring and the safety management cycle. In addition, participants will discover ways that FleetMentor’s suite of tools and resources can help them prepare for and manage their compliance programs under CSA 2010. These webcasts will offer participants the opportunity to evaluate where they stand within each BASIC category, learn what they can do to improve their performance and learn ways to manage their efforts effectively moving forward.

The first in the series, “The Vehicle Maintenance BASIC: Staying on the Road to Compliance,” will be held on July 28 at 1 p.m. CT. Transportation professionals can register for the webcast by signing up for a 30-day free trial of FleetMentor at www.fleetmentor.com. The remainder of the series of BASIC webcasts will be hosted on the following days:
