Peterbilt Motors Co. announced the opening of two new dealer facilities in Bolingbrook and Bensenville, Ill., providing truck sales, lease, rental, parts and service support to customers in the greater Chicago area. Grand openings for both locations were held at each of the new facilities.

The 18,500-square-foot facility in Bolingbrook includes a 12,000-square-foot service shop with 13 service bays, a large parts inventory as well as a parts retail center and truck wash station. The Bensenville facility (near O’Hare International Airport) is 17,000 square feet including five service bays and a large parts warehouse. The O’Hare facility also features a 50-person training center.

“Peterbilt is committed to the growth and development of our dealer network,” says Bill Jackson, vice president of Paccar and general manager of Peterbilt. “We continually work with dealers to explore location expansions in their respective territories. We are extremely pleased that JX Enterprises has made the significant investment in its two new locations to better serve their customers.”

“Our top priority is to ensure customers receive superior service during every experience they have with our dealerships,” says Eric Jorgensen, president and chief executive officer of JX Enterprises. “Our ability to provide immediate parts availability, expedite service repair times, provide rental equipment, as well as offer full-service leasing options, are all critical to the success of our customers. Strategically opening locations in the greater Chicago market will allow our customers ready access in this congested market.”

JX Enterprises is one of Peterbilt’s largest dealer groups and operates 12 locations in Illinois and Wisconsin. Four of its locations – Peterbilt of Wisconsin in Green Bay, Madison and Waukesha, and Peterbilt of Illinois in Rockford – received Peterbilt’s Best-in-Class Award or Platinum Oval Award in 2010 for outstanding performance.
