CEVA Logistics faces trial in racial discrimination lawsuit

CEVA Logistics U.S. faces a trial in a racial discrimination lawsuit after the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit reversed a federal district court’s grant of summary judgment to the company.

The lower court said that even had the plaintiffs established that a hostile work environment existed, CEVA had taken prompt and effective remedial action. The appeals court ruled, however, that a reasonable jury could find otherwise.
