Ryder System Inc. says it has enhanced its www.usedtrucks.ryder.com website to improve the user experience and make it easier to search for and find used vehicles from Ryder online, adding more content and enabling international buyers to view information in more languages:
• Improved Search Functionality: In addition to searching by vehicle type, visitors with particular preferences now can search for vehicles by brand. An enhanced “Advanced Search” feature enables users to refine and filter search results further by price, mileage or equipment feature. Photos and prices for each vehicle in Ryder’s inventory now are viewable immediately in initial search results. Once users find the vehicle or vehicles they are seeking, results now are more printer-friendly and can be e-mailed conveniently directly from the search results view;
• More Content: To assist customers with unique transportation needs, Ryder has added a new section focused on specialized equipment such as passenger buses, glass trucks, tankers and specialty trailers. Visitors also can find more information about Ryder’s value-added services such as extended warranties and financing options; and
• Expanded Export Information: International buyers can find more information about Export Sales and Service, such as ocean freight transport and insurance and payment options. While visitors already can view Ryder’s used truck website in English, Spanish or French, the export section now also is available in Portuguese, Russian and Vietnamese.

So buyers can be confident that their online experience is backed by an expert team of used vehicle sales professionals and the largest available inventory of quality, Ryder Road Ready used vehicles.”
Ryder says it sells more than 18,000 vehicles a year from more than 55 used vehicle sales locations. Customers can choose from thousands of used light-duty, medium-duty and heavy-duty commercial trucks, tractors and trailers backed by Ryder’s Road Ready guarantee, which includes a complete maintenance history for each vehicle, thorough pre-sale inspection program, 30-day powertrain warranty, single ownership, three extended warranty protection plan options (where available) and flexible financing alternatives.
